Sana madali lang makakita ng tunay na kaibigan. Sana hindi pa huli ang lahat...

Now, I realize why I am in so much “need” of a boyfriend.

It’s because I want someone who would reach out to me…who would stay no matter how hard, how disgusting, how irritating I could get…who would prioritize me…who would pick me apart from the rest…who would not leave me behind…who would always be there.

Besides, I come to think that friendship is a weaker bond, and a boyfriend-girlfriend one would be stronger because each would choose to stay not because they get something out of the relationship but because they mean to stay…because it is a more logical reason for giving love and care and patience…because the affection is constant

But, no. I don’t think I would like a boyfriend who is so overly possessive and who would entrap me in his solitary world because hey, adventure screams through my veins. I would want to go out there and live life…

And, who am I to say friendship is a weaker bond? I am the one who doesn’t immerse myself in it. But sometimes, I really think I do need people to hang out with, who would show me what more there is to life.

Make every single day count. Make each day worth remembering.

If Stuntmen from the old movies don’t have your full respect then I just don’t know what to say to you

l tried really hard not to reblog this

Yeah, it is indeed really hard not to reblog a fucking thing.

Can we all agree that the man in the first gif is the manliest man in the world?

Are we just going to all silently acknowledge that the last guy is clearly dead and that we just saw him die.

HOLD UP FOR A SECOND

ALL OF THESE GIFS ARE ONE MAN

THE SINGULAR BUSTER KEATON

WHILE FILMING THE GENERAL

HE SNAPPED HIS NECK ON THE RAILROAD TIES AND WENT HOME AND ICED HIS BODY

AND CAME BACK FOR WORK THE NEXT DAY

HE ONCE GOT HIS HIP RIPPED OUT OF ITS SOCKET BY A MALFUNCTIONING ELEVATOR AND WAS DISAPPOINTED WITH HIMSELF FOR BEING INJURED

HE ONCE HAD TO FALL 100 FEET DOWN A WATERFALL INTO A NET

A STUNTMAN TESTED IT AND BROKE BOTH LEGS AND DISLOCATED HIS SHOULDER

BUSTER DID THE STUNT ANYWAY AND LANDED WITHOUT A SCRATCH

IN ‘THE HIGH DIVE’

BUSTER DID A TRICK DIVE THROUGH A CARDBOARD DECK THAT WAS CAMOUFLAGED TO LOOK LIKE THE REAL DECK

ONLY HE COULDN’T TELL FROM 100 FEET UP WHERE THE CARDBOARD STOPPED AND THE REAL DECK STARTED AND THERE WAS ONLY LIKE A THREE FOOT MARGIN FOR ERROR

AND WHEN HE HESITATED A SUDDEN BREEZE LITERALLY KNOCKED HIM OFF THE DIVING BOARD AND HE HAD TO JUMP ANYWAY

AND HE MISSED THE REAL DECK BY LESS THAN A FOOT BUT HE MADE IT

IN THE SECOND GIF HE’S RECREATING SOMETHING THAT THE ACTUAL GENERAL PURSUERS HAD TO DO IN THE CIVIL WAR

IF HE MISSES THAT TIE

THE TRAIN WILL BE DERAILED AND HE WILL DIE IN THE EXPLOSION

IN THE THIRD GIF AN ENTIRE HOUSE IS FALLING HE HAS ONE TAKE AND IF HE HAS NOT DONE THE CALCULATIONS CORRECTLY HE WILL BE CRUSHED

HE HAS AN INCH-WIDE MARGIN ON EACH SIDE

AND THE HOUSE LITERALLY BRUSHES HIS LEFT SHOULDER ON THE WAY DOWN

YOU CAN SEE HIS LEFT ARM JUMP BECAUSE HE’S FLINCHING FROM THE PAIN

THAT LAST GIF

HE WAS SUPPOSED TO MAKE THAT JUMP

HE WAS NOT SUPPOSED TO FALL AND THEY HADNT PLANNED FOR IT

BUT HE SURVIVED

BUSTER KEATON SURVIVED 100% OF THINGS THAT WOULD HAVE KILLED LESSER MEN INCLUDING WWI, TORNADOS, HOUSEFIRES, ALCOHOLISM, BROKEN NETS, CRUSHING DEPRESSION, THE DEPRESSION ITSELF, THE MCCARTHY WITCHHUNTS, THE END OF SILENT CINEMA, AND ABOUT 900 MORE OF THE STUNTS YOU SEE ABOVE

BUSTER LIVED TO BE 70 YEARS OLD

FATHERED LIKE FOUR KIDS AND EIGHT GRANDKIDS

HE CAME OUT THE OTHER SIDE OF ALL THAT

THINKING THAT LIFE WAS GOOD AND PEOPLE WERE WONDERFUL

BUSTER KEATON IS NOT JUST A STUNTMAN

HE IS A GODDAMN SAINT

BUSTER KEATON’S PARENTS WERE PART OF A TRAVELING SHOW.

THEY WERE ACROBATS.

THEY TOOK BABY BUSTER UP HIGH IN THE AIR WITH THEM.

THEY DROPPED HIM.

LUCKILY SOMEONE WHO WAS STANDING UNDER THEM CAUGHT BABY BUSTER.

THAT MAN WAS HARRY HOUDINI.

HARRY HOUDINI SAVED BUSTER KEATON’S LIFE.

if you don’t think that’s the coolest shit you can get right out.

Take the risk. Break the rules.

Giveaway time!

So it’s my birthday month coming up! Lots of people seem to be doing giveaways and it looks like fun! I tried to make a semi-diverse set of books, and I’d be ecstatic to help you choose one! Ahhh I’m excited!

  • The Book of Blood & Shadow - Robin Wasserman (YA. Da Vinci Code meets Pretty Little Liars)
  • The Great Gatsby - F. Scott Fitzgerald (There’s a rich guy. You’ve probably heard of him.)
  • The Code of the Woosters - P.G. Wodehouse (British humor at it’s best.)
  • The She - Carol Plum-Ucci (Very YA. They’re by an ocean. He’s an orphan.)
  • The Line - Teri Hall (YA dystopianish. There were some flowers.)
  • A Midsummer Night’s Dream - Shakespeare (Fairies.)
  • Fahrenheit 451 - Ray Bradbury (Dystopian. Books are kind of important.)
  • Dead Poets Society - N.H. Kleinbaum (Very easy read. Also easily makes me cry.)
  • The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Nighttime - Mark Haddon (Contemporary.)
  • The Mysterious Affair at Styles - Agatha Christie (Oh Hercule Poirot.)
  • Phantom of the Opera - Gaston Leroux (Fanboying gets out of hand.)
  • Slaughterhouse Five - Kurt Vonnegut (Sadness. Confusion. Aliens. WWII.)
  • The Giver - Lois Lowry (A+ YA philosophical dystopian. Go find a ten year old and make them read it after you.)
  • Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy - Douglas Adams (British.)
  • Code Orange - Caroline Cooney (YA thriller)
  • The Hobbit - J.R.R. Tolkien (I think Ed Sheeran’s in this one.)
  • Nine Stories - J.D. Salinger (Beautiful. If you hated Catcher, still read this.)
  • The Body of Christopher Creed - Carol Plum-Ucci (YA mystery, coming of age, etc.)
  • Catcher in the Rye - J.D. Salinger (I have a love/hate relationship. Don’t get me started.)

Some rules: (like these even need to be said)

  • it’s for followers (nowacceptingfirstborns)
  • it’s using Book Depository
  • I’ll draw a name in a few weeks- I’m not putting an exact time but I’ll post when I close it. Update: I realized the reason I chose to end it early didn’t apply anymore, so it’ll be open the entire month- the 31st
  • no giveaway blogs, that’s a copout
  • only reblogs count, sorry- but do it as much as you want
  • you have 48 hours to respond if you win
  • I’m probably missing something? Ask if you have questions!

Good luck!

YOU’VE GOT A DAY OR SO IF ANYONE STILL WANTS TO HAVE A GO.

OMG Please let me win >.< I NEED THIS!

Did I lose you already?

smilingkeepsushappy:
Can you please tell me if adam and Mia end up together I need closure?

Hi, smilingkeepsushappy! Are you planning to read Where She Went? OMG, I don’t want to spoil things to you, y’know… All I can say is that they both ended up happy :)
